Sometimes as artists we forget how valuable our gifts can be. Someone says something to criticize our work and we shrink back into our shell. My hope is that you’ll read this and realize we need to stand up and be counted. Art brings beauty into the world. It brings another perspective me might not yet have thought about. If something resides within us the story needs to be told. Lest it be lost forever. Who knows the impact you can have until you lay everything out on the table. You might just look back one day and say ‘yeah, I did share my uninhibited creativity’. I suggest that is something noble and worthy of pursuit.

    An inexpensive way to get started with digital art is to buy a small Wacom tablet and a program like Manga Studio. I wish I had known this when I first started. You can start your journey as a digital artist without to much of an initial outlay. I hope this helps!

    Often times we keep our art locked in a basement or hidden high up in a cupboard somewhere. Without realizing it we are taking away from the magic that art can bring the world. In no time in history has there been someone like you, nor will there be someone like you in the future. It would be a shame to keep your unique take on the world hidden because of what someone might say or believe about our work. Inhibition is the great slayer of creativity. Find places and people that encourage your creative expression. Others will be encouraged to follow your lead.  I promise you the world will thank you for it.
